Welcome to Revi-Taxi! At UNISHOP LLC, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data very seriously. Revi-Taxi was built with a strict "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Your study progress, exam results, and preferences remain securely in your hands at all times. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent practices regarding data handling when you use the Revi-Taxi iOS application.

Revi-Taxi is a native iOS learning application designed to help Swiss candidates prepare for the professional taxi driver examination required to obtain the cantonal authorisation to operate a taxi in Switzerland. The app provides a bilingual (French / Swiss Standard German) multiple-choice question bank covering Swiss federal road traffic law (LCR/SVG, OCR/VRV, OETV/VTS, OAC/VZV), the Ordinance on the Working and Resting Hours of Professional Drivers (OTR 2 / ARV 2), the Labour Law applicable to transport (LDTr / AZG), the Federal Act on Value Added Tax (LTVA / MWSTG) and the cantonal taxi regulations of six cantons (Vaud — LVTC, Geneva — LTVTC, Zurich — Taxigesetz, Bern — Taxiverordnung, Basel-Stadt — Taxiverordnung BS, Valais), together with detailed local topography flashcards, a per-canton fare calculator, an inter-cantonal regulation comparator and a timed mock-exam mode mirroring real exam conditions. 2. Data Collection and Local Storage

Revi-Taxi does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. The app operates with a fully local storage model and works 100% offline.

• Local Device Storage: All data is stored exclusively and locally on your iPhone using Apple's native SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. Nothing is sent to any external server.
• No Account Required: Revi-Taxi does not require any sign-up, login, email address, password, or account creation. You can start training immediately without providing any personal information.
• No Cloud Servers: UNISHOP LLC does not operate any external servers, cloud databases, or custom backends for Revi-Taxi. Your data never leaves your device. There is no cloud. There is no backend.
• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
• No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, read, analyze, or transmit any of your data. Because we never possess your data, we will never sell or share it with third parties.
• No Telemetry & Analytics: We do not collect usage statistics, crash logs, or any performance metrics.
• No Ads or Tracking: The app contains no advertisements, no Apple IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) tracking, and no tracking pixels or SDKs.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

For transparency, here is a complete list of data that Revi-Taxi stores locally on your device:

• Question Revision Progress: Per-category accuracy, mastery levels, last revision dates and the answers given for each individual question across the 660+ question bank.
• Personal Statistics: Total sessions completed, total questions answered, overall success rate, per-category accuracy, federal vs cantonal accuracy split, and identified weak points.
• Session History: Date, duration, mode (quick, official exam, cantonal mock-exam, topography, client scenarios), score and per-category breakdown of every revision session you have completed.
• User Preferences: Active canton (VD, GE, ZH, BE, BS, VS), interface language (French/German), notification preferences, daily reminder hour and onboarding state.
• Favourites: Questions and cantonal regulations you have flagged as favourites.
• Premium Status: Your Pro status, validated locally via Apple's secure StoreKit framework.

All of this data is stored in the application's local container using SwiftData and UserDefaults. It is automatically and permanently deleted by the iOS operating system when you uninstall the app.

4. Analytics and Third-Party SDKs

We respect your privacy and device performance. Revi-Taxi intentionally excludes all third-party tracking algorithms and analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, or RevenueCat). We do not monitor your behavior within the app. Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads—by design.

5. Apple Privacy Manifest

Revi-Taxi includes a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest as required by Apple, declaring the following:

• UserDefaults (NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults): Used for storing user preferences locally on the device (reason CA92.1).
• Tracking: None. The app does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because there is nothing to track.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Revi-Taxi operates on a freemium model. Free users have access to federal questions and three core categories with a 10-question-per-session limit; Pro users unlock the full 660+ question bank including all six cantons, the timed official exam mode, the cantonal mock-exam, the topography quiz, the client-scenario quiz, the inter-cantonal regulation comparator and the per-canton fare calculator.

• Secure Transactions: All purchase transactions are processed exclusively via Apple's secure StoreKit framework and your personal Apple ID.
• Financial Privacy: UNISHOP LLC does not process your payment and has zero access to your sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). The app only receives confirmation from Apple, and UNISHOP LLC receives only aggregated sales reports (such as country and purchase volumes) that contain absolutely no personally identifying information. Apple's privacy policy applies for the payment part: apple.com/legal/privacy.
• Purchase Restoration: You can restore your purchases at any time through the app. This process communicates exclusively with Apple's servers—never with UNISHOP LLC.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Notifications

Revi-Taxi offers an optional daily revision reminder that can be enabled or disabled at any time from the in-app Settings. When enabled, the reminder is implemented exclusively as a local notification scheduled by the iOS operating system itself using Apple's UserNotifications framework — no data is ever sent to any external server, no notification provider is involved, and the reminder content is generated locally on your device. Notification permission is requested at the moment you enable the feature, never at app launch.

8. Intended Audience and Age Restrictions

Revi-Taxi is designed for adult learners preparing for a professional certification. Obtaining a Swiss professional taxi driver authorisation (cantonal A licence) requires the candidate to hold a Swiss driving licence category B for at least two years and to be at least 21 years old in accordance with the Federal Ordinance on the Admission of Persons and Vehicles to Road Traffic (OAC / VZV Art. 6). The app is rated 4+ in the App Store because its content is purely educational and contains no objectionable material, but it is targeted at adults preparing for a regulated professional examination.

9. Educational Disclaimer

The legal content, fare tables, regulatory references and topography fact sheets provided in Revi-Taxi are intended for strictly educational and revision purposes. They are based on Swiss federal legislation, ordinances and cantonal taxi regulations in force as of 2026. While we strive for accuracy, the application does not constitute legal advice nor an official fare schedule, and should not be relied upon as such. Indicative fares displayed in the per-canton fare calculator are clearly labelled as such and must always be verified with the competent cantonal authority. Always refer to the official legislative texts and consult a qualified professional or your cantonal authority for binding interpretations.

10. Your Rights & Data Control (GDPR / Swiss nLPD)

Revi-Taxi is designed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD).

Since UNISHOP LLC does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, there is no personal data held by us. Therefore, rights of access, rectification, or erasure do not apply at our level because we do not possess any of your data. Instead, you have total direct control over your data:

• Reset Progress: You can reset all your learning statistics and progress at any time directly in the app from Settings → Reset progress.
• Complete Deletion: You can delete all locally stored data simply by uninstalling the application from your iOS device.

11. Content Sources and Attributions

The legal content of Revi-Taxi is written in-house by UNISHOP LLC based on publicly available Swiss federal legislation (LCR/SVG, OCR/VRV, OETV/VTS, OAC/VZV, OTR 2 / ARV 2, LDT / AZG, LTVA / MWSTG, CO / OR, CP / StGB, LCA / VVG, LStup / BetmG, LAA / UVG, LHand / BehiG, LPD / DSG, LMétr / MessG, OIMes / MessMV) and the cantonal taxi regulations of Vaud (LVTC), Geneva (LTVTC / RTVTC), Zurich (Taxigesetz), Bern (Taxiverordnung Bern), Basel-Stadt (Taxiverordnung BS) and Valais. All texts are paraphrased and accompanied by precise article citations. The local topography fact sheets are based on publicly available geographic information about the cities of Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Bern, Basel and Sion. The app does not include any third-party copyrighted images, videos, audio, or fonts beyond the standard Apple SF Pro and SF Symbols system resources.

In accordance with Section 5.1 (Privacy) of the App Store Review Guidelines, Revi-Taxi provides this policy to clearly disclose what data the application collects, how that data is used, and how you can manage or delete your data.

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our app's features or legal requirements.
