Welcome to Revi-FSVL! At UNISHOP LLC, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data very seriously. Revi-FSVL was built with a strict "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Your learning progress, statistics, and preferences remain securely in your hands at all times. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent practices regarding data handling when you use the Revi-FSVL iOS application.
Revi-FSVL is an educational and preparation application designed to help Swiss candidates prepare for the theoretical FSVL/SHV examination (paragliding, hang gliding, and tandem flight). The app is native to iOS 17+ (built with SwiftUI) and is available in French and German.
2. Data Collection and Local Storage
Revi-FSVL does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. The app operates with a fully local storage model.
- Local Device Storage: All data is stored exclusively and locally on your iPhone using Apple's native SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to any external server.
- No Account Required: Revi-FSVL does not require any sign-up, login, email address, or account creation. You can start training immediately without providing any personal information.
- No Cloud Servers: UNISHOP LLC does not operate any external servers or cloud databases for Revi-FSVL. Your data never leaves your device. There is no cloud. There is no backend.
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, read, analyze, or transmit any of your data. Because we never possess your data, we will never sell or share it with third parties.
- No Sensitive Permissions: Revi-FSVL does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
For transparency, here is a complete list of data that Revi-FSVL stores locally on your device:
- Learning Progression: Spaced-repetition (Leitner box) states, correct and incorrect answer statistics, and next revision dates for each question.
- Virtual Flight Profile: Gamified details including virtual altitude, consecutive-day daily streak, remaining wings, chosen discipline, and history of completed mock exams.
- Favourites: Questions you have bookmarked for later review.
- User Preferences: Selected discipline, daily revision reminder times, and app settings.
- Subscription Status: Your Pro subscription status, managed locally via Apple's StoreKit framework.
All of this data resides solely on your device and is never transmitted to UNISHOP LLC or any third party.
4. Analytics and Tracking
We respect your privacy and device performance. Revi-FSVL intentionally excludes all third-party tracking algorithms and analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, etc.). We do not monitor your behavior within the app. There are no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no advertising identifiers. Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads—by design.
5. Notifications
Revi-FSVL may request permission to send local notifications to remind you to study.
- Local Notifications Only: Daily study reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's native notification framework. No data is sent to any external server.
- Permission-Based: Notifications require your explicit permission via the standard iOS prompt. You can enable or disable them at any time through the app or your device's Settings.
- No Push Notification Servers: We do not use any remote push notification services. There are no tokens, no server-side triggers, and no third-party messaging platforms involved.
6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Revi-FSVL offers optional Pro upgrades to unlock the full question bank and advanced features.
- Purchase Options: Monthly subscription, annual subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Secure Transactions: All purchase transactions are processed exclusively via Apple's secure StoreKit framework and your personal Apple ID.
- Financial Privacy: UNISHOP LLC does not process your payment and has zero access to your sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). The app only receives subscription confirmation from Apple. You can review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy/.
- Purchase Restoration and Management: You can restore, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Compliance (GDPR / Swiss nLPD)
Revi-FSVL is fully compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD).
- No Data Processing: Since no personal data is collected, transmitted, or processed by UNISHOP LLC, there is no data registry, rectification, or deletion required on our servers.
- No Cookies: Revi-FSVL is a native iOS application and does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
8. Children's Privacy
Revi-FSVL does not perform targeted data collection and is compliant with Apple's developer guidelines for all audiences. The app does not collect personal information from users of any age. Since no data is stored on remote servers and no account creation is required, no personal data is ever transmitted to us.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.
- Delete App Data: Uninstalling Revi-FSVL from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including question progression, stats, preferences, and virtual flight profile.
- Local Reset Feature: You can also manually reset your progress at any time within the app's Flight Book (Carnet de vol) settings.
- No Remote Data: Because UNISHOP LLC does not store any of your data on remote servers, there is no data to request deletion of on our end.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our app's features or legal requirements. Because we do not collect your email address or contact information, we cannot notify you individually. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Any modifications take effect immediately upon being posted on this site.
