Welcome to Revi-FBA! At UNISHOP LLC, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data very seriously. Revi-FBA was built with a strict "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Your study progress, quiz results, and preferences remain securely in your hands at all times. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent practices regarding data handling when you use the Revi-FBA iOS application.
Revi-FBA is a native learning application designed to help adults prepare for the Swiss FBA certificate of competence (LPA/OPAn) — targeting breeders, animal shelters, and pet boarding facilities. The app features 300 multiple-choice questions sourced from Fedlex, with training quizzes, timed mock exams, Leitner spaced-repetition, progression statistics, favourites, OPAn technical fact sheets, and gamification (hearts/lives, daily streaks). The app is available in French and German.

2. Data Collection and Local Storage
Revi-FBA does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. The app operates with a fully local storage model.
- Local Device Storage: All data is stored exclusively and locally on your iPhone using Apple's native SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to any external server.
- No Account Required: Revi-FBA does not require any sign-up, login, email address, or account creation. You can start training immediately without providing any personal information.
- No Cloud Servers: UNISHOP LLC does not operate any external servers or cloud databases for Revi-FBA. Your data never leaves your device. There is no cloud. There is no backend.
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, read, analyze, or transmit any of your data. Because we never possess your data, we will never sell or share it with third parties.
- No Sensitive Permissions: Revi-FBA does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
For transparency, here is a complete list of data that Revi-FBA stores locally on your device:
- Question Progression: Leitner box placement and mastery levels for each question, allowing the spaced-repetition algorithm to track your learning across categories.
- Favourites: Questions you have bookmarked for later review.
- Session Statistics: Quiz scores, correct and incorrect answers, and overall progression metrics.
- Gamification Data: Hearts (lives), daily streak count, and local profile information.
- Mock Exam Results: Scores and dates from timed practice examinations.
- Subscription Status: Your Pro subscription status, managed locally via Apple's StoreKit framework.
All of this data resides solely on your device and is never transmitted to UNISHOP LLC or any third party.
4. Analytics and Tracking
We respect your privacy and device performance. Revi-FBA intentionally excludes all third-party tracking algorithms and analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.). We do not monitor your behavior within the app. There are no cookies, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers. Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads—by design.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Revi-FBA offers optional Pro upgrades to unlock the full question bank and advanced features.
- Three Purchase Options: Monthly subscription, annual subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Secure Transactions: All purchase and subscription transactions are processed exclusively via Apple's secure StoreKit framework and your personal Apple ID.
- Financial Privacy: UNISHOP LLC does not process your payment and has zero access to your sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). The app only receives the subscription status (active or inactive) from Apple—never any payment details.
- Purchase Restoration: You can restore your purchases at any time through the app. This process communicates exclusively with Apple's servers—never with UNISHOP LLC.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Third-Party Services
The only third-party services involved in Revi-FBA are operated by Apple:
- Apple StoreKit / App Store: Used solely for managing Pro subscription purchases and restoration. Apple processes all payment transactions according to its own privacy policy. You can review Apple's privacy practices at apple.com/privacy.
- iCloud Backup (Optional): If you have iCloud Backup enabled at the iOS system level, your device may include Revi-FBA's local data in your encrypted Apple backup. This is managed entirely by iOS—not by the app. UNISHOP LLC has no access to your iCloud backups.
7. Network Connections
Revi-FBA connects to the internet only to communicate with Apple's StoreKit servers for validating in-app purchases and subscriptions. No other network connection is made. The app does not contact any UNISHOP LLC server, any third-party API, or any analytics endpoint.
8. Children's Privacy
Revi-FBA is designed for adult professionals preparing for the Swiss FBA certificate. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally and no account creation is required, no personal data is ever transmitted to us.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.
- Delete App Data: Uninstalling Revi-FBA from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including question progression, favourites, statistics, and gamification data.
- No Remote Data: Because UNISHOP LLC does not store any of your data on remote servers, there is no data to request deletion of on our end.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our app's features or legal requirements. Because we do not collect your email address or contact information, we cannot notify you individually. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Any modifications take effect immediately upon being posted on this site.
