Welcome to Revi-Ascenseurs! At UNISHOP LLC, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data very seriously. Revi-Ascenseurs was built with a strict "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Your learning progress, quiz results, field checklists, and preferences remain securely in your hands at all times. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent practices regarding data handling when you use the Revi-Ascenseurs iOS application (iPhone).

Revi-Ascenseurs is an educational application designed to help candidates prepare for the Swiss elevator technician examination, covering the EN 81 standards series (EN 81-20, EN 81-22, EN 81-72, EN 81-73, EN 81-80, etc.), the Swiss Federal Ordinance on the Safety of Technical Installations (STEV / OIT), the Swiss Low Voltage Installation Ordinance (NIV / OIBT), the European Lift Directive 2014/33/EU as applied in Switzerland, and SUVA / CFST workplace safety prescriptions. The app provides a multi-format quiz bank (multiple-choice, true/false, multi-select, numeric input, ordering), reference sheets, technical schematics, field checklists, a technical calculator, and breakdown scenarios. The application is fully bilingual French / Swiss German (Hochdeutsch).

2. Data Collection and Local Storage

Revi-Ascenseurs does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. The app operates with a fully local storage model.

• Local Device Storage: All data is stored exclusively and locally on your iPhone using Apple's native SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. Nothing is sent to any external server.
• No Account Required: Revi-Ascenseurs does not require any sign-up, login, email address, or account creation. You can start training immediately without providing any personal information.
• No Cloud Servers: UNISHOP LLC does not operate any external servers or cloud databases for Revi-Ascenseurs. Your data never leaves your device. There is no cloud. There is no backend.
• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. The app creates no user account and stores no personal identifier.
• No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, read, analyze, or transmit any of your data. Because we never possess your data, we will never sell or share it with third parties.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

For transparency, here is a complete list of data that Revi-Ascenseurs stores locally on your device via SwiftData and UserDefaults:

• Quiz Sessions: Date, duration, number of questions answered, score, and mode (quick session, exam mode, category practice, scenarios, etc.) for each completed revision session.
• Category Progression: Number of questions seen and correctly answered per technical category (EN 81 standards, cables, motors, doors, parachutes, hydraulics, etc.) to compute your mastery percentage and identify weak topics.
• Field Checklist States: Tick state and free-text remarks for each item of the field checklists (periodic inspection, commissioning, preventive maintenance, post-modernization, EN 81-73 fire safety) so you can pause and resume an on-site inspection.
• App Settings: Content language preference (French / German), main elevator type filter, daily reminder time and on/off state, display preferences such as showing standard references.
• Daily Free Quota Counter: An anonymous counter of the number of questions answered today, used only to enforce the free-tier daily limit. This counter resets every calendar day and contains no personal identifier.
• Subscription Status: Your Pro entitlement (monthly subscription or lifetime purchase), managed locally via Apple's StoreKit 2 framework.
• Onboarding Flag: A single boolean indicating whether you have completed the first-launch onboarding screens.

All of this data resides solely on your device and is never transmitted to UNISHOP LLC or any third party.

4. Analytics and Tracking

We respect your privacy and device performance. Revi-Ascenseurs intentionally excludes all third-party tracking algorithms and analytics SDKs. There is no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no RevenueCat, no advertising framework, and no tracker of any kind integrated into the app. We do not monitor your behavior within the app. Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads—by design.

5. Local Notifications

Revi-Ascenseurs may schedule a single optional local daily reminder notification to help you maintain a consistent revision habit. This notification is:

• Optional: Disabled by default. You must explicitly enable it from the Settings sheet and grant the standard iOS notification permission.
• 100% Local: Scheduled by iOS itself via UNUserNotificationCenter. No notification content is sent through any push server. UNISHOP LLC has no remote push infrastructure.
• Easily Disabled: You can turn the reminder off at any time from within the app, or by revoking the notification permission from iOS Settings.

6. Apple Privacy Manifest

Revi-Ascenseurs declares the following limited use of system APIs as required by Apple:

• UserDefaults (CA92.1): Used for storing user preferences (language, reminder time, free quota counter, onboarding flag) locally on the device.
• Purchase History: Linked to the device for Pro entitlement verification only.
• User Notifications: Used only for the optional local daily revision reminder. No remote push.
• Tracking: None. The app does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because there is nothing to track.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Revi-Ascenseurs offers optional Pro upgrades to unlock the full question bank, exam mode, field checklists, technical calculator, breakdown scenarios, schematic flashcards, and unlimited daily usage.

• Two Plans Available: Pro Monthly (auto-renewing subscription) and Pro Lifetime (one-time non-consumable purchase).
• Secure Transactions: All purchase and subscription transactions are processed exclusively via Apple's secure StoreKit 2 framework and your personal Apple ID.
• Financial Privacy: UNISHOP LLC does not process your payment and has zero access to your sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). We simply receive an anonymous digital token from Apple confirming the transaction.
• Purchase Restoration: You can restore your purchases at any time through the Settings sheet of the app. This process communicates exclusively with Apple's servers—never with UNISHOP LLC.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Lifetime purchase is non-recurring and requires no cancellation.

8. Network Connections

Revi-Ascenseurs connects to the internet only to communicate with Apple's StoreKit servers for validating in-app purchases and subscriptions. No other network connection is made. The app does not contact any UNISHOP LLC server, any third-party API, any analytics endpoint, or any content delivery network. All quiz questions, reference sheets, schematics, and checklists are embedded in the application bundle and work fully offline.

9. Reference Content and Disclaimer

The pedagogical content of Revi-Ascenseurs (questions, reference sheets, technical values, checklists) is provided for revision and educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy and reference official standards (EN 81 series, STEV, NIV, SUVA / CFST), the application is not a substitute for the official normative documents, the manufacturer's instructions of a specific installation, or the supervision of an accredited inspection body. UNISHOP LLC declines any liability arising from interventions on real elevator installations based solely on the content of this application.

10. Children's Privacy

Revi-Ascenseurs is a professional educational quiz application targeting adult apprentices and technicians preparing the Swiss elevator technician examination. The app does not collect any personal information from users of any age. Since all data is stored locally and no account creation is required, no personal data is ever transmitted to us.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.

• Reset In-App: The Settings sheet of the app provides a "Reset progression" action that immediately deletes all your quiz sessions and category statistics from the device.
• Delete App Data: Uninstalling Revi-Ascenseurs from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including learning progression, checklist states, statistics, and preferences.
• No Remote Data: Because UNISHOP LLC does not store any of your data on remote servers, there is no data to request deletion of on our end.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our app's features or legal requirements. Because we do not collect your email address or contact information, we cannot notify you individually. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Any modifications take effect immediately upon being posted on this site.
