Welcome to Revi-AFA! At UNISHOP LLC, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data very seriously. Revi-AFA was built with a strict "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Your study progress, exam results, and preferences remain securely in your hands at all times. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent practices regarding data handling when you use the Revi-AFA iOS application.

Revi-AFA is an educational and study application designed to help Swiss candidates prepare for the Swiss Federal Certificate of Insurance Intermediary (AFA / IAF). The app provides a bilingual (French/German) multiple-choice question bank covering key topics such as the LCA (Insurance Contract Act), LSA (Insurance Supervision Act), and social security/insurances (AVS, LPP, LAA, LAMal, AI, APG), using a Leitner spaced-repetition revision system and timed mock exams.

2. Data Collection and Local Storage

Revi-AFA does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. The app operates with a fully local storage model.

• Local Device Storage: All data is stored exclusively and locally on your iPhone using Apple's native SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to any external server.
• No Account Required: Revi-AFA does not require any sign-up, login, email address, or account creation. You can start training immediately without providing any personal information.
• No Cloud Servers: UNISHOP LLC does not operate any external servers or cloud databases for Revi-AFA. Your data never leaves your device. There is no cloud. There is no backend.
• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
• No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, read, analyze, or transmit any of your data. Because we never possess your data, we will never sell or share it with third parties.
• No Sensitive Permissions: Revi-AFA does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

For transparency, here is a complete list of data that Revi-AFA stores locally on your device:

• Question & Answer Progress: Individual answers to quiz questions and success/failure statistics.
• Learning Progression: Spaced-repetition (Leitner boxes) states, study dates, and favourites/bookmarks.
• User Preferences: App language selection, daily revision reminder times, and onboarding completion status.
• Gamification Data: Daily streak count and gamified compliance score.
• Mock Exam Results: Scores and completion dates from simulated examinations.
• Subscription Status: Your Pro subscription status, managed locally via Apple's StoreKit 2 framework.

All of this data resides solely on your device and is never transmitted to UNISHOP LLC or any third party.

4. Analytics and Tracking

We respect your privacy and device performance. Revi-AFA intentionally excludes all third-party tracking algorithms and analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, etc.). We do not monitor your behavior within the app. There are no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no advertising identifiers (ATT tracking is not required). Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads—by design.

5. Notifications

Revi-AFA may request permission to send local notifications to remind you to study and to show a badge on the app icon.

• Local Notifications Only: Study reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's native UserNotifications framework. No data is sent to any external server.
• Permission-Based: Notifications require your explicit permission via the standard iOS prompt. You can enable or disable them at any time through the app or your device's Settings.
• No Push Notification Servers: We do not use any remote push notification services. There are no tokens, no server-side triggers, and no third-party messaging platforms involved.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Revi-AFA offers optional Pro upgrades to unlock the full question bank and advanced features.

  • Annual Subscription (com.unishopllc.reviafa.pro.annual) – CHF 89 / year (includes a 7-day free trial)
• Secure Transactions: All purchase transactions are processed exclusively via Apple's secure StoreKit 2 framework and your personal Apple ID.
• Financial Privacy: UNISHOP LLC does not process your payment and has zero access to your sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). The app only receives subscription confirmation from Apple.
• Purchase Restoration: You can restore your purchases at any time through the app. This process communicates exclusively with Apple's servers—never with UNISHOP LLC.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Compliance (GDPR / Swiss nLPD)

Revi-AFA is fully compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD).

• No Data Processing: Since no personal data is collected, transmitted, or processed by UNISHOP LLC, there is no processing registry or declaration required.
• No Cookies: Revi-AFA is a native iOS application and does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

8. Children's Privacy

Revi-AFA is designed for adult professionals preparing for professional insurance qualifications. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally and no account creation is required, no personal data is ever transmitted to us.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.

• Delete App Data: Uninstalling Revi-AFA from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including question progression, stats, preferences, and streaks.
• No Remote Data: Because UNISHOP LLC does not store any of your data on remote servers, there is no data to request deletion of on our end.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our app's features or legal requirements. Because we do not collect your email address or contact information, we cannot notify you individually. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Any modifications take effect immediately upon being posted on this site.
